… a description of the sound/s — “lapping waves, creaking wood, boats rubbing against the guards on the dock, ropes under tension”
If you have the ability to make a recording sample — even a basic quality recording will do as with your mobile phone — I’d appreciate that, too. I can’t promise you fame and fortune if I use your idea, however you will likely get credited in the album’s liner-notes and a couple of finished copies. Oh, and for any legal purposes, your idea will become my property — if your idea has a deck with a hot tub and BBQ, that’d be extra sweet!
